You may have noticed we had the wonderful Harry Martin for the month of April here at Msandile. Harry joined the team to help increase our marketing and social offerings. His main love of wildlife led to some exceptional images of the ever-stunning Luangwa fauna which have already earnt their dues with one of Lucy’s cubs now handsomely featured in the running for Africa Geographic’s photographer of the year!

We are lucky enough at Msandile to get lots of photographers pass through camp, from the amateur iPhone snappers to the world-famous mirrorless, big lens captures.

Maybe you have heard of the big 5, traditionally these were the hardest animals to hunt. Bringing down one of these was a sign of what a great hunter you were and came with big acclamation.
